| Description: Urinalysis is
the most frequently used and least expensive form of drug testing
used by employers today, making up approximately 90% of all drug
testing. The results are taken from your urine sample providing
information and indication of recent drug use. It is fast, accurate,
and easy to perform. These are the same tests that are usually sold
to employers, courts, schools, drug counselors and rehab centers.
Knowing before you go is a major part of the battle. Test results
are 99.9% accurate, and yield results within minutes.

| Instructions:
The InstaCheck Drug Screen is formulated for use
with urine specimens. Fresh urine does not require any
special handling or pretreatment. Urine sample should be
collected in a sterile or clean container. The test
should be performed as soon as possible after the
specimen collection, preferably during the same day.
Specimens that have been refrigerated must be brought to
room temperature before testing.
Procedure: Fresh
urine can be tested immediately. Do not open protective
pouches until ready to perform the test.
1. Remove the test
device from the sealed pouch.
2. Draw the urine
sample up the pipette and dispense 4 drops(0.2 ml) into
the sample well. The sample wells are round and marked
as "sample" or "s". Avoid adding
drops that contain air since air bubbles in the well may
cause uneven flow or prevent the flow of the sample onto
test strip.
3. Read results
within 3 to 8 minutes after addition of samples. Do not
read results after 8 minutes. If the test is left
standing for longer than 8 minutes, the intensity of the
colored lines may change or a new line may appear.
Interpretation of
Results
|
|
Negative: |
Positive: |
Invalid: |
| Two
colored lines- one at the Control Region
("C") and one at the Test Region
("THC", "COC",
"PCP", "AMP", "METH"
etc.). |
One
colored line in the Control ("C")
Region, and NO line at the Test Region
("THC", "COC",
"PCP", "AMP", "METH"
etc.). |
NO
colored line in the Control ("C")
Region with or without a line in the Test
Region ("THC", "COC",
"PCP", "AMP", "METH"
etc.). |
|
Note: A very
faint line on the test region indicates that the drug in
the sample is near the cut-off level for the test. These
samples should be considered negatives. They are to be
confirmed with a more specific method before a positive
determination is made. |
